At this point I decided it was time to
head to my place of work. As I walked back, pass the temporary dog kennels,
and looked over to Stonehenge, where there hadn't been even the slightest hint
of trouble, I thought how marvelous it had been. And
then I stepped down a valley, below the level of the roads and the noise of
traffic. For a moment or two I could hear nothing more than early morning
birdsong and take in a view ... |
