Steve Cotterell

During a 20-year Civil Service career I gained IT experience in the Monopolies Commission and the Information Technology Services Agency.  Taking early retirement, I spent the next 20 years as Technical Editor of the Project Manager Today magazine.  Here, I travelled the world and met many interesting people.  I fully retired at the end of 2017 and, since then, have occupied myself in a number of ways that I’d like to share with you.

Facebook pages

I run several Facebook pages, which take up quite a lot of my time.  You can find out more about these pages by clicking HERE.

I enjoy writing poetry and I have included several of the poems that I have written on this page and, if you’d like to read then, you can access that part of this site by clicking HERE.

I have been fascinated by butterflies and moths for many years.  Butterflies are frequent visitors to our garden and I thought that you might like to see a few pictures of some of the species that have visited us, and read a little about them.  To visit those pages, click HERE

I’m a keen amateur photographer and I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the world, taking photos as I go.  I’ve put together a selection of the photos that I’ve taken that have pleased me the most.  To see these pictures, click HERE.

My father, Arthur Cotterell, was an artist of considerable ability.  You can read about him, and view some of his work, by clicking HERE.
