COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

 

Sometimes NUT members can face difficulties which arise out of incidents which happen at work. For instance they may feel that they have been treated by someone in an unreasonable way at school, or they may be having to deal with someone who is bullying them (see BULLYING). In all cases of this sort the member should contact the local NUT office to seek the advice of a Union Officer. We are familiar with all sorts of problems and we can advise on the best course of action. A person who is being harassed at work will need support and the local union officers are best placed to offer this support in getting the complaint resolved.
