4. "In the reign of Elizabeth John DINGLEY married Elizabeth HUNSFORD, heiress of Gregory Hundsford of Essex. His brother Mark DINGLEY married Ann CRESSWELL." [IWRI: Oglander] Hmmm! Well I think that Oglander has got the generations wrong here.
5. "...Mr Dinglie, his [Sir John LEIGH's] fathor-in-lawe, wase imployed by Sir George Carey as his Debutie-liftennant, Sir John Leygh livinge with him and beinge more active than his fathor-in-lawe, dispatched most of the busines". [Oglander]

1. Marriage settlement with Sir William MORE of Loseley in Surrey, "12 June 1545, Mabel, da. of Marchion Digneley of Wolverton, I.o.W." "Sir William was born 30 Jan. 1520, 5th but only surviving son of Sir Christopher More, of Loseley, remembrancer of the Exchequer, by his first wife Margaret, daughter of Walter Mudge or Mugge of Guildford." But other source (see above) shows Mary as MORE's wife. Needs further investigation.
