Sir Thomas in caravan of galleys at Malta 5 Mar 1530. [Mifsud] 4. Sir Thomas was first procurator of English Auberge on Malta 28 Nov 1530. [Mifsud] 5. Received Commandery of Badesley and Mayne in England 9 Jan 1531. [Mifsud] 6. 16 April 1534 in Malta, seeking confirmation in the benefice of Stanesgate, conferred on him by the English Chapter, and he left again for England in December 1535.[Mifsud] 7. Sir Thomas's appointment as Commander of Shingay confirmed by King Henry VIII 19 Apr 1537. [L&P] 8. "In the reign of Elizabeth John DINGLEY married Elizabeth HUNSFORD, heiress of Gregory Hundsford of Essex. His brother Mark DINGLEY married Ann CRESSWELL." [IWRI: Oglander] Hmmm! Well I think that Oglander has got the generations wrong here. 5. "...Mr Dinglie, his [Sir John LEIGH's] fathor-in-lawe, wase imployed by Sir George Carey as his Debutie-liftennant, Sir John Leygh livinge with him and beinge more active than his fathor-in-lawe, dispatched most of the busines".
